He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Haley and Ruth Haley; his grandchildren, Missy and Jacester; his wife Miriam; his daughter Chris; his son-in-law Pat O'Connor; his children, Jen Haley and Keith; his daughter-in-law Kayla Haley; his grandchildren, Cassie and Jace Haley; his sister Lorna; his brothers-in-law, Tom Johns, Paul Bunn and Mark Bunn; and his close friends, Jack Goebel and John Giop. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
