We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2025, at the age of 57, Michael Kirk Petersen (Anaconda, Montana), born in Butte, Montana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Michael had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Michael may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harrison Creswell Bowden, Betty Powers Bowden and Clara Petersen. He is survived by: his mother Harriet Tallmadge of Anaconda, MT; his brother Daniel Petersen (Lidia) of Las Vegas, NV.; and his pets, Puddles and Pugs. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gateway Christian Fellowship (300 E 4th St, Anaconda, MT 59711).
