It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Faye Scalese formerly of Chester, Montana, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Belle Dorthy Rolph and Edwin Calvin Foster; her brother Buck Foster; her sisters-in-law, Marlene Foster and Lois Foster; her nephew Jim Foster; her niece Terri Foster; her brother-in-law Lewis Burnham; her great-nephew Jake Wells; her siblings-in-law, Duaine and Karen Sloan; and her parents-in-law, Hales and Ambjorg Scalese.

She is survived by : her husband Harold "Sonny" Scalese of Sunburst; her children, Larry Scalese (Beth) of Missoula and Linda Keller (Rod) of Great Falls; her grandchildren, Allison Benson of Sunburst, Tyler Scalese of Shelby, Tom Maney, Brea Skinner (Chris), Montana Heron of Missoula, Jordan Keller (Chelsea) and Cody Keller (Jenny) of Great Falls; her great grandchildren, Trevon, Kaiden, Topher, Dylan, Brayden, Mary, Ryker, River and June; her siblings, Dorothy Burnham of Chester and Rolph Foster of Great Falls; and her kitty Bernie.
