He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Alfred F. Blunt and Pansy Robinson McNeil; his half-sisters, Laura (Dyrdahl), Nina (Brundage), Velma (Bean) and Dorothy; his children, Grace (Helman), Marie (Wasson), Alfred F. Blunt, Jr. and Clarence; his brothers, Ranch, Junior, Carberry and Blunt Ranches; his children, Margaret Ore of Helena, Kenneth Blunt (Karen) of Malta, Judy Blunt of Missoula, Gary Blunt of Apache Junction, AZ and Gail Sadler (Jerry) of Winslow, AZ; and his wife Shirley. He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Clarence Russel Blunt, 89, died November 24, 2020, of natural causes complicated by the COVID-19 virus.
