She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Bert Yates and Myrtle Yates (Johnston); her grandson Cody; her sons, Robert Pulse, Jr. (Bob) of Decatur, TX and Lon Pulse of Palm Springs, CA.; her granddaughter Lisa Bailey (Pulse) of Ft. Gibson, OK.; and her brother Richard Yates of Hammond.

In 2011, Alzheimer's began to take its toll.
