He was predeceased by : his parents, George Ous and Villa Ous (Nape); and his siblings, George Vernon Ous (Lois), Gerald "Bud" Ous (Norma) and Marion Carlson (Clarence).

He is survived by : his wife Sharon; his daughters, Shanna Williams, Stephanie Colgan (Warwick) and Dana Donoven; his grandchildren, Malissa Chinadle (Dustin), Brit Colgan, Spencer Colgan (Tammie) and Jordy Donoven (Haylee); his great grandchildren, Keaten, Paxten Chinadle, Jazmyn, Atikos Colgan, Hazel and Archie Donoven; and his sister Cally Brodigan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (303 6th Ave, Havre, MT 59501).

Memorials in Arvid's honor may be made to The North Central Montana Everything Antique Show, Gildford Community Park or to a memorial of the donor's choice.
