He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Winhofer and Theresia Winhofer (Unger). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Winhofer of Glendive; and his children, Richard Winhofer (Janet) of Billings, Montana, Patricia Metz (Joseph) of Willis and Theresia LeSueur (Kerwin) of Helena, Montana. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
