He was predeceased by : his parents, William L. Blatter and Olga Blatter; and his sister Betty. He is survived by : his wife Betty Jean Riley; his children, Kathleen and Douglas; his grandsons, Jared, Cole, Alex, Brian and Richard "Dale"; and his great grandchildren, Britny, Baylie, Brandon, Brady, Tyler, Ryan and Heather. He is also survived by nine children.
