He is survived by: his wife Karin Sunchild of Rocky Boy; his children, Crystal Adams (Eric) of Rocky Boy, Rose of Rocky Boy, Heather Lamere of Rocky Boy, Michael Bruno of Rocky Boy, James Parker of Rocky Boy, Elizabeth Pitzner of Rocky Boy and Miley Sunchild of Rocky Boy; and his siblings, Roy, Lloyd (Gay), Daryl, Dallas (Pam), Darin Sunchild (Marva), Larry Bernard, Arlene Sunchild (Vaughn Bodine), Doreen, Cindy Sunchild, Kim Patacsil (Victor), Christine Sunchild, Violet Dawn Sunchild, Margaret and Brenda Bernard. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
