It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester Ophus of Havre, Montana, born in Big Sandy, Montana, who passed away on August 6, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Anton Ophus and Pearl Ophus (Sluggett); and his grandsons, Jordan Hanson and Clay Morse. He is survived by : his wife Arlene Ophus; his children, Lorrie Hanson (Paul), Debbie Degnar (James), Kenny Ophus (Kathy) and Tom Ophus (Vickie); and his siblings, Lawrence, Vernon, Lyle Ophus (Barb) and Loretta Murphy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

Lester's family has suggested memorial donations be made in his name to Shriner's Children Hospital or charity of your choice.
