He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Patricia and Mary Patricia (Donovan); and his brother Gregory. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly (Smolinski); his daughter Kelly; his stepson Matthew Arauz; and his siblings, Glenn (Debbie), Judi McLain (John), Lewis (Mary), Vincent (Bobbi Hawk), Carol Raye Nykaza (Dennis Gunia) and Steven (Diane Pierson).
