He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Antone Heinrich Hartman and Anna Elisabeth Guderjahn Hartman; his sisters, Anneliese Swanson and Helen Murray; his brothers-in-law, Andy Swanson and Roger Murray; and his parents-in-law, Fred Fornfeist and Charlotte Weingart.
He is survived by: his nephew Rudiger (Rosie); his wife Pat Fornfeist Hartman; his children, Tanya L. Hartman (Rob Gilbert) and Joseph A. Hartman (Carla); his grandchildren, Kaytlyn, Keagan Shearer, Brandon, Kennedy and Makayla Hartman; and his brothers-in-law, Ed Blank, Ralph Fornfeist, John Fornfeist and Matt Weingart Jr. Treasured.
