He was predeceased by: his siblings, Judy and Dennis; and his sister-in-law Wendy. He is survived by: his son Logan Fladeland; his stepsons, Austin, Ryan and Evan Fonk; his grandson James Fonk; his parents, Ted Fladeland and Gertrude Fladeland; his sister-in-law Valerie Fladeland; his siblings, Wayne Fladeland, Karen Fettes (Dwayne) and Dianne Dedora (Greg); and also Tracie Fladeland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
