He is survived by : his wife Cheri Shanks of Hungry Horse; his children, Stephanie Shanks (Don) of Miles City and Cory Shanks (Dixie) of Columbia Falls; his siblings, David Hustad of Nashua, Dean Shanks (Denise) of Kalispell, Rob Shanks (Karen) of Kalispell, Dana Martin (Terry) of Salcha and Lisa Albrecht (Jeff) of Columbia Falls; and his grandchildren, Paytan Jones of Coeur D'Alene, Eliana Jones, Dillion Anderson and Cyrus Shanks.
