He was predeceased by : his parents, Clara Julia Hagen Arneson and Oscar Ingvald Arneson; his sister Mildred (Connie); his son Leslie; his grandson Bryce; his great great grandchildren, Mya and Ava Clarke; and his sister-in-law Nona Arneson.

He is survived by : his children, Julia Diane and Brian Duane; his wife Alice of Hysham; his brother Kenneth Arneson of Billings, MT; his children, Laura Arneson Willems (William) of Myers, Amy Willems Kimberlain (Gary), Shawn Willems of Hysham, Julia Arneson Tagney (Brian) of Kimball, MN, Kirbee Tagney Nykamp (Nathan) of Sioux Center, IA, Burke Tagney of St. Cloud, MN and Michaela Tagney of Minneapolis, MN; his daughter-in-law Deitra Barrus Arneson; his children, Chase (Tori), Chyenne, Brian Arneson (Danette) and Ashley of Billings, MT.; his great grandchildren, Ella, Oliver, Rosie Nykamp, Shawnna, Zander, Zamaya and Billy Jean Willems Clark (Kevin); his daughter Alayna; and also, Joanna Kotar, John Halmans, Jerome Halmans, Joe Halmans and Jeff Halmans. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
