He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Schreck and Walter Schreck; his wife Helen Aklestad; his siblings, Stanley, Ramon, Leon, Ronald and Darlene; his stepdaughter Elaine Keister; and his stepgrandchildren, Sheila Kettel and Bret Aklestad.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Myrtle Schreck (Ramon) and Wilma Schreck (Ronald); and his grandson Robert Aklestad. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
