It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melvin Powell (Kalispell, Montana), who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Powell and Bertha Powell (Eller); his siblings, Helen Collins and Dennis Powell; his brother-in-law Melvin Hanson, Jr.; his siblings' children, Cory Powell, Cindy and Polly Banks; and his great-nephew Dillon Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Cecile Hanson; his children, Chuck, Terry and Christy of Kalispell; his sister Gail Banks (Joe) of Lake Park, GA; and his sibling's children, Lyle Moore Jamie Moore (Caroline), Vince Hanson, Tony Powell (Tora) of Kalispell, Rodney, Brian, Del Collins and Marnita Collins. He is also survived by his parents and uncle in a sa mill that his dad.
There will also be a Celebration of life next summer when hopefully this Pandemic is over.
