She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Mohl and Elsie Mohl; her brothers, Ruthyn Mohl (Gladys) and Leon Mohl; her husband Marvin O. Vaagen; her daughter Deeon Bickle (Mike); and her grandsons, Matthew Bickel and Scott Bickle.
She is survived by: her son Paul; her son-in-law Mike Bickle; her grandchildren, Randy Bickle, Rychele Markuson and Autumn Cagel; and her great grandchildren, Kaden Bickle, Arlo Bickle and Eeanor Cagle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home (1717 Main St, Miles City, MT 59301).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mardella's name to Trinity Lutheran Church in Miles City or the Custer County Food Bank.
