We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2022, at the age of 87, Gay Laney of Plentywood, Montana, born in Grover, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Hoffman and Emily Hoffman (Rothman); her sister Lucille; her brother-in-law Sam Meier; and her daughter-in-law Joni Laney (Robinson).

She is survived by : her husband John Laney; her children, Dalenne Schmidt (Tim) of Williston, ND, John of Wolf Point, MT and Brad (Teresa) of Vernal, UT; her granddaughter Sara Larson (Scott); her great grandchildren, Annora and Heron; her grandchild Chris Laney (Ilene); her great grandchild Megan; her grandsons, Patrick Laney, Jared Laney (Gwen) and Josh Laney (Stevie); her great grandchild Bobbi; her grandchild Jordyn Laney; her brother Bill Hoffman (Evelyn); and her sister-in-law Ruth Ellen Barnaby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
