She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Onstad and Edith Onstad (Durbin); her husband Jim Frederick August; her sister Marilyn; her grandson Zachary; and her great great grandchild Beckham.

She is survived by : her children, Mike (Susan Bowman), Steve (Peggy Bowman), Mary (Archie Petersen) and Brent (Jody Bowman); and her siblings, Marlowe Onstad (Elaine) and Janet Rasmussen. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
