He is survived by: his son Sharold Dean Buerkle; his wife Melody (Eyre); his daughter Christa Alford (Jacob); his grandchildren, Jenavieve Striplin, Dean and Connor Alford; his brothers, Lorin Buerkle (Carol), Dale Buerkle (Sharon), Vernon Buerkle (Patsy) and Kevin Buerkle (Darcey); and his children-in-law, Tanya Frazier (Mark) and Travis Loss (Jenna). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great nieces.
