She was predeceased by : her husband Howard Harold Welty; and her parents, Robert Dowty and Loretta Dowty. She is survived by : her children, Daniel, Donald and Amy Welty; and her sister Patty.

A vigil service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lake Funeral Home (101 6th Ave E, Polson, MT 59860). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (1002 4th Ave E, Polson, MT 59860).
