He is survived by: his parents, Peter Taflan and Ludovica Taflan; his wife Sylvia Budak of Chelsea, MT; his father-in-law Matt Budak; his brother-in-law George; his siblings, Peter of Canton, OH, George (Maryalice) of San Diego, CA and Jen Bumbu of The Villages, FL; and his children, John (Eileen) of Elmhurst, IL, Jim (Liz) of Helena, MT, Jeff of Lake Balboa, CA, Jane (Darin) of Poplar, Jerome of Poplar and Julie of Peoria, IL. He is also survived by his sister-in-law (Roberta Budak), of Poplar; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
