She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Gunderson-Schmidt and Emma Gunderson-Schmidt; her sister Bernice; and her brother-in-law Sam Sparr. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Randy and Cindy Staley (Ron); her brother Richard Schmidt; and her sister-in-law Caroline Lenhardt. She is also survived by four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
