He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. Paul J. Schneider and Lois Schneider of Adams; his wife Virginia B. Schneider; his son David; his brothers, Pete, Bill and Tim; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Schneider, Georgene Resney, Michael Resney and Lenelle Howard.

He is survived by : his children, Paula Goodew (Jerry) of Raleigh, NC, P. J. Schneider (Wendy) of Belgrade, MT and Barbara Barnhart (Terry) of Red Lodge, MT.; his siblings, Suzanne Sheedy (Michael) and Tom Schneider (Marge); and his siblings-in-law, Jean Schneider, Loren Schneider and Lenny Schneider (Karen). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
