He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Alfred Skogen and Isabel Skogen; his former life partner Mardene Wirz; his children, Cindy Dell (Tom) of Billings, Fred Skogen (Tammy) of Greeley, Karen Haslem (Aaron) of Red Hook, Brenda Dennis (Rick) of Charlo and Brad Wirz (Sandy) of Ronan; his grandchildren, Riley (Chye), Alex Garcia (Trae) and Nathan Dennis; and his great grandchildren, Aden, Kolby, Victoria, Sydney, Molly, Sicily, Emma, Carter, Kaden, Davin, Landon, Virginia, Stephen, Madeline, Derek, Aliya, Everly, Lucas and Keaton. He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a memorial scholarship that's been set up in Al's name.
