He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Gayle Harkins; his children, Jonathan Sturgis of Kingston, NH, Joy Gaffke (Tony) of Billings, MT, Jolene Itami (Timothy) of Portland, OR. and Jon (Kiok Lian); his grandchildren, Johanna Nelson (Mac), Daniel Gaffke (Krishell), Jessie Gaffke and Ivan Sturgis; and his sisters, Christy Hostetler (Bob), Verna Hostetler (Lee), Lorraine Hostetler (Lyle) and Kathi Melton (Larry). He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
