It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane L. Dengel of Stanford, Montana, born in Lewistown, Montana, who passed away on April 6, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father John; her sister Frances Ostertag; and her brothers-in-law, Frank Ostertag and Wayne Pallett. She is survived by : her husband Duane Dengel of Stanford; her children, Anita Smith (Mark) of Lewistown and Arthur Dengel of Hudson, WI; her siblings, Bill Waggoner of Portland, OR and Nancy Simmes (Harold) of Vaughn; her grandchildren, Lindsay Strozzi (Frank Walsh), Kyle Strozzi (Chloe), Lane Smith, Malena Dengel and Max Dengel; her great grandchildren, Khloe Rausch, Steele Strozzi and Lennon Walsh; her siblings-in-law, Alta Pallett, Carol Warren (Kevin), George Dengel, Bud Dengel (Sherry), Richard Dengel (Donna), Bill Dengel (Pat) and Don Dengel (Vickie); and her pet Sadie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
