He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Mackowiak and Jane Mackowiak (Kubasik); his former life partner Elodie Mackowiak; his siblings-in-law, Judy Mackowiak and Robert Hemenger; and his nephew Eric Mackowiak.
He is survived by : his wife Lisa Mackowiak (Hemenger); his daughter Bethany Fish (John) of Severna Park; his grandsons, Jack and Ethan Fish of Severna Park; his brothers, David Mackowiak of Dunkirk and Lawrence Mackowiak (Theresa Fowler) of Largo, Fla.; and his aunt Sophia Kubasik. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great-niece and nephew and cousins.
