He was predeceased by : his parents, Mildred and John C. Burdette, Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Anne K. Burdette; his children, Michael Burdette (Holly) and Meredith Murchison (John); his grandchildren, Luke, Anna Burdette, Clara, Lilly and Garrett Murchison; his brother Boyd Burdette (Esther); and his niece Danielle Burdette.
