It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellis (Advance, North Carolina), who passed away on April 6, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Wiley Ellis and Fannie Ellis; and her brothers, Robert, Richard, Wilbert and Melvin Ellis.

She is survived by : her daughter Mary Lee; her sisters, Eula Mae Goodwin (James) of Winston Salem and Willie Joyce Martin (Roy) of Winston Salem; her niece Charita Martin Ward (Tony) of Winston Salem; and her great-nieces, Candace Martin and Nicole Davis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
