With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Hayes (Advance, North Carolina), who passed away on October 8, 2019 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joe Harding King and Helen Pauline Michael King; and her sister Rebecca K. Smith. She is survived by : her husband Hubert H. Hayes, Jr.; her daughter Nora Hayes; and her siblings, Eileen Dunn, Deborah Foltz and Thomas King.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to the Watauga Humane Society, 312 Paws Way, Boone, NC 28607.
