With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca McCreary (Advance, North Carolina), who passed away on July 23, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Canie Weldon Lawson and Ella Frances Wood Lawson; and her siblings, Christine Samuel, Alvis Lawson, Mae Phillips, Perry Lawson, Wilbert Lawson and Davis Lawson.
She is survived by : her husband Melvin Thomas McCreary; her daughters, Angel M. Owens (Jeff) and Temple M. Blevins (Justin); her granddaughters, Lindsay Owens and Kirby Owens Hunter (Dustin); her stepgrandson Austin Blevins (Sonya); her great grandchildren, Ocie Belle Hunter, Kindee Rae Boyd and Lottie Sue Hunter; her stepgreat-granddaughter Abree Blevins; and her sister Frances Lawson Gunter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
