She was predeceased by: her parents, Veradia "Peggy" McDonald Dilday and James Edward Turnage; and her grandparents, Oswald McDonald and Dorothy McDonald. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Henry St. John; her daughter Renee St. John White; her grandson William White of Windsor, NC.; and her siblings, Clay Dilday (Laurie) of Ahoskie, NC, Teresa Turnage, Sheila Ray, Doris Ray (Danny) of Windsor, NC, Sherry Turnage and Bobbi Coutlis (Mike) of Virginia Beach, VA.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service - Ahoskie Chapel (205 NC-42, Ahoskie, NC 27910). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service (205 NC-42, Ahoskie, NC 27910).
