He was predeceased by: his parents, Talmadge Baker Forehand, Sr. and Leona Gibson Forehand; and his grandson Elias Maddox Forehand. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Burden Forehand; his children, Joseph Forehand (LaVonda) of Colerain and Jennifer Farmer (Lee) of Aulander; his grandson Braeden Hair (Kali) of Colerain; his great grandchild Mylah Hair; his brother Carl Forehand (Pam) of Macclesfield, NC; his sibling's children, Donald Forehand (Emily) of Macclesfield, NC and Carla Austin (Derek) of Elm City, NC; and his cousin Chris Forehand (Brianna) of Colerain.
