It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelby Long Michaels (Alamance, North Carolina), who passed away on March 3, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Alfred Colon Michaels; her stepfather John Terrell; and her brothers, Johnny Long and Tommy Long. She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Murray (Doug), Penny Simmons, Steve Ford, Amy Eastwood and Tracey Loy; her grandchildren, Crystal Johnson (Blake), Butch Denham (Sasha), Thomas Simmons, Ashley Simmons and Bruce Webster; her great grandchildren, Riley Johnson, Mia Denham and Madison Denham; her stepdaughter Wanda Anderson (Rick); and her siblings, Lucy "Sissy" Long, Tina Apple (Jeff) and Ronnie Long. She is also survived by her husband, mother, father.
