She was predeceased by: her parents, Davis Spears and Gertie Melton Spears; her husband Titus "Shorty" Gould; and her son John D. Gould. She is survived by: her children, Harry E. Gould (Donna) of Garner, Timothy Gould of Cary and Myrna Fesperman of Rockwell. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to SECU Hospice House of UNC Health Johnson (426 Hospital Rd. Smithfield, NC 27577).
