He was predeceased by: his father Barry Thomas Owen; his uncles, Larry Owen of Danville and Steve Owen of Danville; and his grandparent Luther Powell of Danville. He is survived by: his mother Karen Powell Anderson; his stepfather Bill Anderson; his grandparent Charlotte Powell of Danville; and his siblings, Melisa B. Lyles (Graham), Joni B. Fallaw (Matt) and Randy Owen of Danville.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Vandola Baptist Church, 1950 Vandola Church Road, Danville, VA or the American Heart Association.
