She is survived by: her sons, James Alan Burris (Gail) of New London and Ricky Joe Burris of Albemarle; her grandchildren, Kimberly Bradley (Scott) of Richfield, Wesley Burris (Sara) of Austin, TX, Meredith Sawyer (Timothy) of Albemarle and Rikki Jo Burris of Albemarle; her great grandchildren, Lauren Caviness (Dusty), Kalyn Luther (Daniel), Mary Grace Caudle, Scott Burris, Jordan Burris, Kyle Sawyer and Jacob Goodman; her great great grandchildren, Elias Caviness, Enoch Caviness, Elyn Caviness and Jackson Luther; and her sister Frances Hathcock of Albemarle.
