She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Clay Herrin and Esther Lowder Herrin; her daughter Teresa Burris Parker; and her grandson Adrian Parker. She is survived by: her sons, Delane Burris (Darlene) of Albemarle and Chet Burris (Sheila) of Albemarle; and her grandchildren, Alicia Bailey (Mark), Brandon Burris (Cortney), Ty, Marisa, Carlie and Sadie. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
