With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty June Pennington Mason of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on May 22, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Odom Lee Pennington; her husband Hubert Mason; and her siblings, Edward Dwayne Pennington and Martha Ann Pennington Shuford. She is survived by: her friends, Helen Hinson, Louise Almond, Darlene Burleson and Janette Almond; her daughter Elizabeth Ann Smith (Michael) of Albemarle; her grandsons, Matthew Smith of Albemarle, Kodi Smith (Sydney) of Albemarle, Logan Smith of Albemarle and Rylei Smith of Albemarle; and her great grandchildren, Cadence Smith and Adelyn Smith.
