She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Edney and Mary Idell Faggart Barringer; her husband Lorain Welch; and her siblings, Irene Greene, Doris Barringer, Ruth Barringer, Dora Byrd, Pearl Tucker, George Barringer, Clyde Barringer and Woodrow Wilson Barringer.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Swaringen (Gene) of New London, NC, Derrick Welch (Angie) of China Grove, NC, Earl Welch of Red Cross, NC and Larry Welch of Red Cross, NC; her grandchildren, Dusty Swaringen, Devon Yanochik and Mackenzie Welch; her great grandchildren, Olive Marie Yanochik and Violet Jane Yanochik; and her siblings, Eyvonne Shue and Wayne Barringer.
