He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Grant Efird and Annie Surratt Efird. He is survived by: his wife Janie Whitley Efird; his sons, Steven Efird (Laurie) of Albemarle, Darrell Efird (Carman) of Lancaster, SC, Glenn Efird (Mary) of Albemarle and Billie Efird Jr. (Trinity) of Albemarle; and his sisters, Carol Kimrey of Albemarle, Peggy Harris of Eden and Patricia Harris of Albemarle. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
