He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlie Lee Bowers and Ruby Russell Bowers. He is survived by: his wife Martha Noreda Bowers; his children, Rajenna Culp (Floyd "Mickey") and Marty Bowers (Lisa); his siblings, Mickey Bowers, Hurley Bowers, Revonne Hatley and Monica Laton; and his grandchildren, Tracy Culp, Sherri Rummage (Terry), Dustin Bowers and Brittany Bowers. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
