She was predeceased by: her husband Dwight Sides; her son Gary Dwight Sides; and her siblings, Marcus Kennedy, Otto Kennedy, Jewel Sifford and Cyiable Biggers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Stewart (Randy) of Thomasville and Linda Wallace (Jack) of Albemarle; her grandchildren, Meredith Foust (Robbie), Matthew Stewart (Stephanie), Mark Stewart (Kelly) and Laura Wallace; her great grandchildren, Alice, Kate, Lyla and Makenzie; and her sister Betty Witmore of Matthews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie, 960 North First St, Albemarle NC 28001.
