He was predeceased by: his wife Annie Lou Kluttz Honeycutt; and his sisters, Edith H. Eagle and Mae H. Block. He is survived by: his son Timothy L. Honeycutt (Deana); his grandsons, Clayton R. Honeycutt (Cat) and Samuel J. Honeycutt (Amy); his great grandchild Abigail S. Honeycutt; and his brother William R. Honeycutt, Jr. of Mt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
