He was predeceased by: his wife Annie Ruth Stevens Archer; and his siblings, Don Archer, Sara Caffey and Colleen Penfield. He is survived by: his son Douglas E. Archer, Jr.; his wife Lou; his daughter Sandy Archer Smith (Daniel); his grandchildren, Daniel Douglas Smith and Stacey Leanne Smith; and his great grandchildren, Cassidy Leanne Carriker, Colton Douglas Carriker and Daniel Douglas Smith, Jr. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
