He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Vance Cook Sr. and Zula Burleson Cook. He is survived by: his children, James Cook (Nancy) of Salisbury, Anthony Cook (Shelia) of Albemarle, Grover Cook (Cecelia) of Albemarle, Rodney Cook (Rachel) of New London, Paula Huneycutt (Randy) of Albemarle and Trina Poplin (Mark) of Albemarle; and his brothers, Dewell Cook of Albemarle, Mitchell Cook of Albemarle and Darrell Cook of Seagrove. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
