He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie William and Bertha McLester Speight; his daughter Crystal Speight Coleman; and his siblings, Gad Speight, Raphu Speight, Ruel Speight, Max Speight and Bernice Burleson.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma K. Speight; his daughter Lisa Lowder (Jackie); his granddaughter Talia Hutton (Patrick); his great grandchild Katia Jade Hutton; his siblings, C. J. Speight, Keith Speight (Sue), Helen Teeter and Blanche Almond; and his brother-in-law Joel Kimrey (Carolyn). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
