He was predeceased by: his parents, John Garrison Boyd and Mary Stanley Boyd; and his brother David Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Boyd of Albemarle; his daughter Leslie Boyd DiMaio of Columbia Falls, MT; and his siblings, Bonnie Maready of Greensboro and Stanley Boyd of Asheville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
